We all know that I have ALWAYS been a wedding photographer.

Never got into fashion photography or foods photography or other stuff although I semi secretly have been doing some documentary / journalism stuff with The New York Times over the past 5 years or so.

One morning, my journalist / photographer friend James told me that there is photo comp called ”The Silver Lining Awards” run by AIPP (Australian Institutes of Professional Photography) that I should give it ago. So I looked it up.

This photo comp was open for all AIPP members, General Public and International entrants, also. So I have decided to submit an image that I photographed in Bondi Beach during Covid-19 when the beach was closed.

So I have decided to title this image, BEACH CLOSED.

I am delighted to announce that I have made it to the semi-final stage of “The Silver Lining Award 2021”.
