I am Katsu. The founder of Sydney Wedding Photography by Katsu.
We are a small team of wedding photographers and videographers based in Surry Hills. We have been running our little business since 1996. I was a freelance wedding photographer when I first started back then. Now I have a small team helping me out. You probably can tell from my name, but I was born in Kyoto, Japan and moved to Sydney in my early 20’s. I never thought that I will be still photographing weddings after 20 years! But I must say….

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY JOB!

When I say “MY JOB” I am talking about “WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY”
Yes, I have done fashion photography, properties or products photography in the past.
(Actually… I still do that once in awhile) but when I ask myself if I am passionate about it? My answer has to be NOPE. Not Fashion, Not properties but YES to weddings.

MY PASSION IS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY.
