Your wedding is around the corner?

Time flies! Your wedding is just around the corner, which means it’s time to work out the timeline for your special day.

First, let’s decide what time you’d like to leave your hotel room for the ceremony or first look.
For this example, let’s say you want to leave at 4PM.

I typically start with the groom’s preparations, followed by the bride’s.
I like to allocate 1 hour for photographing the groom (plus travel time between locations) and 1.5 hours for the bride.

In this case, I would start with the groom at 1 PM and finish by 2 PM, (Let’s say 30 minutes of travel time,
plus setting up equipment, parking my scooter, etc) Then, I would start with the bride at 2:30 PM and leave the room at 4 PM.

Now you know when I should begin.
If you don’t need getting-ready photos,
I can start 30 minutes before the ceremony or first look.

Ceremony: 20-30 minutes

Group and Family Photos: 20-30 minutes (right after the ceremony)

Location Photos: Minimum 30 minutes, up to 2 hours (Please check with the venue for the start time of the reception)

Reception Party Starts: As early as 6 PM, but no later than 7 PM

Speeches, Cake Cutting, and First Dance: 9:30 PM (This is when all formalities will be finished)

Typically, this is when we say goodbye unless you want us to capture you enjoying the festivities and leaving some evidence behind! Haha!

This is the typical schedule for the day.

If you’re happy with this schedule, I will start at 1 PM and finish around 10 PM. This means you can select the 9-hour package. (between 8 to 10 Hours Packages)
However, it’s entirely up to you when you would like me (and my team) to start or finish. Some couples don’t need getting-ready photos,
while others only need us for the first few hours of the reception. Some may have a Chinese tea ceremony in between, and others prefer to get ready together, etc.

Now that you know how to select your package,
here are a few other things I want you to keep in mind:

Tip 1:
If you book both photo and video services, it’s ideal for us to start and finish at the same time for the best results.

Tip 2:
Please inform your hair and makeup artists that my starting time with the bride is their finishing time.

Tip 3:
Allow for some buffer time. We all know that weddings rarely run on time.
Having a buffer can help if your makeup artist is running late, your parents get stuck in traffic, it starts raining, your bouquet hasn’t arrived,
or you accidentally left your phone at home. We’ve seen many brides stressed all day trying to catch up, and it’s just not fun and stressful.

When you are ready, please send me the following information:

1: The run sheet
2: The names of your bridal party
3: The list of the wedding suppliers you booked

You are now all set and ready to go!!
Looking forward to capturing your celebration!!
